  • Community collaboration. Juvenile justice, child welfare, treatment services systems, schools, child advocacy centers and others collaborate to identify children with problematic sexual behaviors, assess risk, and engage families in evidence-based
    treatment<\/li>
  • Clinical services teams trained in evidence-based treatment.<\/li>
  • Active parent and caregiver involvement. Helping these children and youth requires active engagement of the family; and<\/li>
  • Agency and public policies that are consistent with research outcomes<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    When accomplished eectively, communities can beer sustain the safety, health, and wellbeing for the children and families in the community. Evidence based services for adolescents with problematic sexual behaviors can lead to:<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
    • Decreased child symptoms (problematic sexual behavior and trauma) Increased prosocial behaviors in children and youth<\/li>
    • Decreased parent \/ family stress<\/li>
    • Improved safety and well-being for child and family<\/li>
    • Sustainable and safe reunication of family members<\/li>
    • Improved placement stability for youth involved in Child Welfare system<\/li>
    • Decreased recidivism for youth involved in juvenile justice<\/li>
    • Decreased costs for placement, services and interventions<\/li>
    • Delivered by clinically licensed staff trained in the evidence-based delivery of PSB CBT<\/li>
    • Delivered via group or family treatment modalities (includes individual therapy in both)<\/li>
    • Cognitive-behavioral conceptualization of youth and family; in-person outpatient setting is appropriate for most. Telehealth also available as appropriate.<\/li>
    • Collaboration and coordination with all team members working with the adolescent (CMO, DCPP, MRSS, JJC, family court, etc.)<\/li>
    • Psychiatric evaluation and medication management available as appropriate<\/li>
    • Caregiver participation is required and includes supportive group format<\/li>
    • Teens age 13-18 participate in the adolescent model.<\/li>
    • Children age 6 to 12 participate in the school-age model.<\/li>
    • Most insurances accepted, grant support for uninsured or for out of network.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
