I am happy that you made it to this space. My name is Jillian Caprio, and I am a Licensed Social Worker specializing in trauma-informed care. I earned my Master’s in Social Work with a focus on violence against women and children. My passion for trauma-informed practice grew from my work in non-traditional school and group home settings, where I witnessed how behaviors and beliefs were often shaped by past traumatic experiences.
I have extensive experience working with survivors of complex trauma and supporting individuals coping with concerns that can develop in response to prolonged or repeated trauma, including complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), dissociative disorders, anxiety, depression, and challenges with emotional regulation and relationships. I help clients process traumatic experiences, develop healthy coping strategies, and build resilience in a way that promotes safety, empowerment, and long-term emotional well-being. My approach is inclusive of all that makes you who you are, and I am grounded in the belief that every person’s inherent worth deserves to be recognized and respected.
